It is important to
use the correct fuel or your burner will not heat properly.
Some manufacturers recommend kerosene while others suggest number
1 o 2 diesel. Most recommend both diesel or kerosene.
Always check your owners manual. Under
no circumstances use gasoline to fire your burner. Fuel
tanks exposed to a working environment are subject to water
spray. Check your fuel for water and protect your tanks if
this is a problem. Fuel
tanks can get dirty after a number of years of being packed around
and refilled. Protect your tanks from contamination and
check the regularly for water and debris.
