The
sprayer nozzle on hot water pressure washer sprays oil into the
combustion chamber under pressure and the igniter lights the oil
to create a flame.
The
spray nozzle sprays the oil in a pattern, angle and amount
specific to the make and model of the burner. Over time, the
buildup of sludge and gunk inside the chamber can clog the spray
nozzle, and the burner no longer heats properly.
You
can attempt to remove the sludge blocking the nozzle but replacing
the nozzle along with the oil filter, pump screen and gaskets.
reduces the chance of the new nozzle clogging.
